Gur-ta-Gaddi (Gur ta Gaddi) celebration at Nanded involves the remembrance of the 300th year of the consecration of Guru Granth Sahib as the last guru of Sikh community by Guru Gobind Singhji. The event will also commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Parlok Gaman of Guru Gobind Singhji

  Overview of Camp Developement      

Camp development key highlights

  1. Total area of land required for the event is estimated at around 2500 acres
  2. Area already identified is around 1520 acres. Under city limits is around 520 acres and outside the city around 1000 acres.
  3. Most of the land is either owned by Govt. agencies or local Gurudwaras
  4. Camps will be provided with (as per acceptable norms)
    • Toilet and Bathing Blocks
    • Sewerage and Solid Waste Disposal; Mobile Incinerators at various locations
    • Primary and secondary health care centers. Mobile Dispensaries
    • Information Koisk and Public Address system
    • Security
    • Any other facilities as may be assessed
