Camp development key highlights |
- Total area of land required for the event is estimated at around 2500 acres
- Area already identified is around 1520 acres. Under city limits is around 520 acres and outside the city around 1000 acres.
- Most of the land is either owned by Govt. agencies or local Gurudwaras
- Camps will be provided with (as per acceptable norms)
- Toilet and Bathing Blocks
- Sewerage and Solid Waste Disposal; Mobile Incinerators at various locations
- Primary and secondary health care centers. Mobile Dispensaries
- Information Koisk and Public Address system
- Security
- Any other facilities as may be assessed
