Gur-ta-Gaddi (Gur ta Gaddi) celebration at Nanded involves the remembrance of the 300th year of the consecration of Guru Granth Sahib as the last guru of Sikh community by Guru Gobind Singhji. The event will also commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Parlok Gaman of Guru Gobind Singhji

FINANCIAL PLANNING FOR THE EVENT
As per the initial studies total development and event management expenses would be in the range of Rs. 820 crores. Considering the large investment to be done in a phase wise manner, which will extend over a time span of 5 years the financial planning exercise have to consider the various sources available for the projected fund requirement. Financial planning would consider the following aspects:

Funding the Development Works
1. Government Participation: Central and State Government shall be the largest stakeholders in the development work. This will involve participation by way of equity. The central and state government can participate by way of 75: 25 ratio respectively

2. Private Sector Participation: Private sector participation could be sought for development projects that are revenue generating. These projects could be determined after the detailed techno viability analysis of the development projects. There is considerable scope for Road development, urban infrastructure development and sewerage for private sector participation. This approach would free the government development outlay to a greater extent so that it could be used in non-revenue generating projects.

3. NGO/Religious Participation: Various religious and other voluntary organizations could participate in the development process through syndication of finance by way of grants and donations. This section could participate in the Religious and event infrastructure development.

4. Gurudwara Board and other Management Committees: Certain Event related and religious infrastructure could be developed using the internal funds generated by these entities through donations and sponsorships The following table will elaborate on the financial participation of the various stakeholders in the development projects.
