Gur-ta-Gaddi (Gur ta Gaddi) celebration at Nanded involves the remembrance of the 300th year of the consecration of Guru Granth Sahib as the last guru of Sikh community by Guru Gobind Singhji. The event will also commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Parlok Gaman of Guru Gobind Singhji

Institutional Framework For The Event      
 


The co-ordination for the event should be institutionalized in a format, which will involve the Central Government, State Government and District Administration. The management of the event will also involve the participation of various religious bodies, NGO’s and other social organization. A framework also has to be designed for the Sikh community and local community participation.

  1. Central Level Co-ordination Committee

  2. State Level Co-ordination Committee

  3. District level Co-ordination Committee

Event Management

    1.    Accommodation Committee
    2.    Transportation Management Committee
    3.    Security and Administration Committee
    4.    Ceremonial Committees

The bodies specified will be constituted by various bodies based on the roles specified for the committees.
